Peacock of Spalding automaton longcase clock

A fine & rare longcase clock by Peacock of Spalding with jumping dog automata.

A typical Lincolnshire case of mainly oak with mahogany and then boxwood inlays with a “Swan neck” pediment and a shaped trunk door.

The arch dial with seconds to the centre & also the makers name with a well painted hunting scene of a dog jumping for a Pheasant (and never getting it)

An 8 day duration movement striking the hours on a bell.
