Fine small English fusee skeleton clock

A fine English fusee skeleton clock on original base and with original dome. The base is of mahogany standing on small bun feet. The very fine case brass plates are finished to a high standard and of fine design with 5 spoke wheelwork to all of the wheels. The dial is engraved and then silvered with Roman numerals to a pair of finely made hands. The pendulum is a gridiron type used for a better accuracy in time keeping. Plates stand just 9 1/2″ tall with the base & dome standing 14″ tall. Circa 1850.
