A good English bracket clock made of wonderful flame mahogany and applied carvings all in the William 1V style. The 7″ painted steel dial bears the makers name and Roman numerals with fine spade hands. The 8 day duration movement strikes the hours on a large cast bell. Stands 17 3/4″ tall. Circa 1830-1840.
